Ingredients for making Pastel Junino:

 1 packet of square or roll pastry dough

 1 baked sweet potato

 ½ cup cream cheese

 6 cooked sausages cut into slices

 1 pinch of salt

How to make Pastel Junino:

Start by mashing the sweet potato and mixing it with the curd and salt to taste. This will be part of the filling of your homemade junino pastel.

Cut the pastry dough into squares or rectangles (if you are using the rolling pin) and place a portion of the filling prepared in the previous step in the center. Top with a few slices of sausage and cover with another piece of dough. Pinch the edges tightly and press them with a fork.

Heat plenty of oil in a pan and, when hot, fry the pastries until golden, turning them once. Remove to a plate with a paper towel and drain excess fat.
